The comfiest designer shoe, this high-street dress and the quest to find the perfect bff clutch.
It’s been an extremely busy week over here. As a fashion writer, May and June and some of July are very busy for new drop launches, networking dinners and of course Ascot and Wimbledon.
Then comes the August lull before a brand new busy autumn, - a quietness, I’m hanging for now.
But in-between all these coming and goings, I’ve still found time to covet some new lovely things. Of course! There is always time for that !
1 First up is this two tone contrast dress . I’ve been waiting for this to drop and it doesn’t disappoint in real life.
Perfect for holidays and easy to dress up and down for personal calendars.
2. I’m on a mission to find a perfect clutch - a companion that I can bring on an evening out.
It’s not as easy to find one as you think ! I do like this Bottega Veneta one - called after the uber chic Laura Hutton. It has texture and I love the shape but it’s a little on the heavy side.
I also love this Khaite one and this suede number from Metier.
All are an investment, so no mistakes can be made.
I tried these mules on this week from Loewe and it felt like I was wearing slippers. So soft, an ugly divine chi shoe. And I want a pair.
Suddenly craving a black onyx necklace from Stellar Whispers
And this perfectly formed sun hat.
The necklace that works with many of my wardrobe things.
Lauren clutches that bag in the 1980 movie American Gigolo.
